Can I use Maahir without an internet connection?

Yes. Sessions save locally, and ordinary use never waits for a network. iCloud sync is planned but is not enabled in version 0.3.0.

Does Maahir decide what counts as a mistake?

No. Mistake counts are your evidence, using your own standard. Maahir records rather than judges.

Will Follow my recitation judge my tajweed?

No. The internal pilot follows expected words conservatively and is not enabled in public builds while device testing continues. It does not judge pronunciation, tajweed, or correctness.

Does Maahir save my recitation audio?

No. In internal pilot builds, live microphone audio is processed ephemerally and no recording or transcript is added to your Maahir ledger.

Do I need a separate Maahir account?

The planned iPhone sync uses your private iCloud account, so a separate Maahir login is not planned for Quran data. Sync is not enabled in version 0.3.0.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Settings can export session history or a complete local backup. A backup can also be validated and restored on-device.

Can I erase my data?

Yes. Settings can erase all Maahir data stored on this iPhone after a confirmation.
